I had a feeling this time was coming. Actually, I have a feeling this time came a while ago; I just ignored the signs.
It is time for me to end the Memorizing Scripture Blog. It’s not that I’ve lost my passion to meditate on and memorize Scripture. Truth be told, I couldn’t function in this stressful, unpredictable world without keeping God’s Word before me and in my heart.
But, it seems clear by the lack of traffic to this site, that I’m not connecting with people.
Thankfully, there are other wonderful sites for those who are interested in memorizing Scripture:
BibleGateway.com, Learn the Bible and Ministry to Children.
To each of you, who have visited the Memorizing Scripture Blog, thank you. God bless you as you continue on your Christian walk. If you’ve enjoyed reading the posts on this blog, I will be posting the same type of devotions on my accountability blog, www.TodayCanBeDifferent.net.
Perhaps one day, The Memorizing Scripture Blog will return, but until then, I remain committed to hiding God’s Word in my heart. I hope you will, too.

|Scripture Memory Card (SMC) made by Dana Dee|
I can’t help but wonder if perhaps people stop by, anticipating the challenge of memorizing, but leave disappointed after finding a more devotional-type blog. For that, I apologize. I want to try again to be truer to the blog’s name.
Starting with this post, I will let you know what verses I am memorizing and or meditating on each week. Please share what verses you plan to focus on. If you want to share why you picked the verse(s) you’ve chosen, I’d love to hear it.
Since the beginning of January, (due to a deep desire to understand more about what Jesus’ death on the cross has provided for me), I have been memorizing – and spending a lot of time meditating on Romans 8! This is the first time I’ve attempted to memorize an entire chapter.
I’ll keep you posted on how it’s going.
In addition, I want to invite you to my brand new website: www.TodayCanBeDifferent.net.
If you’re frustrated with where your life is heading and need today to be better than your yesterdays, then I look forward to seeing you at my new blog.
I will be sharing Scripture to motivate and inspire you. The goals we choose are between us and God, but I hope we will feel comfortable enough to share our journey with one another.
You may use your real name or make one up when posting comments. And if you need accountability, this is a friendly, safe environment to do so. We can encourage each other, and talk about our common struggles – and victories!
I look forward to what God will do in (and for) each of us.
If this is truly the day God has made, then … Today. Can. Be. Different!
